Our trio of essential oil blends to enhance your yoga practice.

Centre, with frankincense and spearmint, is uplifting, energising and brings mental clarity and focus. Use this oil at the beginning of your practice when you first get on your mat to help you breathe deeper and slower and connect with your practice.

Flow, with frankincense and sweet orange, to give you gentle energy throughout your practice, this blend is calming and should be used after you have completed your initial centre, intention setting and breath work .

Savasana, frankincense and roman chamomile, deeply relaxing and helps to reset the nervous system. Use this blend towards the end of your practice to help with relaxation and grounding. This blend is also perfect for reiki and meditation.

These oils are skin safe, unusual for essential oils, and can be applied to your pulse points. To get the most benefits from the blends apply a couple of drops to the palm of one hand then rub your hands together. Cup your hands in front of your face and take some deep inhalations, each blend is based on frankincense which slows and deepens the breath. Once you have taken a few deep breaths gently place your fingers to your temples, throat/upper chest and the back of your neck. There is no need to remove one oil before applying the next as they work brilliantly and synergistically together.

Although these oils were created for yoga they are beautiful blends to use at any time: Centre is perfect for a morning or whilst working at your desk, it’s great for headaches too. Flow is a lovely oil to use during the day – all the blends can be used in diffusers too – whilst Savasana is the perfect evening blend to help you wind down and prepare for sleep, it’s really effective at steadying a busy, overactive mind, and it’s safe for children!
