Make this super easy, magnesium rich home made chocolate for when you want that sweet kick. You’ll need: 1 cup of melted coconut oil, 1 cup of dairy free cocoa powder, 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup (I love it with maple syrup). You can leave it plain like this or add any combination of chopped nuts, dried fruits and berries, I like to add goji berries.
Line a baking sheet (for a thin, brittle type chocolate) or a shallow tray (for a creamier, chunkier chocolate) with greaseproof paper, or use a silicon mould for individual chocolates. Gently melt the coconut oil, honey/syrup & cocoa powder, remove from the heat & add any optional extras. Pour out & put in the freezer for at least 4 hours to set then move to the fridge. Pop out of the mould, slice into pieces or just break off a piece when you want a healthy treat.
Enjoy, Sam x
